Our Method

How we research SMC Global Securities for readers in India, what we check it against, and how we are paid.

Updates and corrections

Trading conditions drift, so each page carries the date it was last checked; our source material for India was last refreshed on 2026-07-07. A date moves only when the content behind it moves; we do not re-stamp pages to look fresh.

How we are funded

We earn from partner links. The reader pays nothing more for using one. That arrangement does not buy a verdict: the facts and the conclusion on these pages read the same whether or not anyone uses those links. This is editorial coverage, not advice, and we have no corporate relationship with SMC Global Securities.

Where our facts come from

The facts here come from documents, not from marketing: the register of Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) regulates exchange-traded currency derivatives; Reserve Bank of India (RBI) governs foreign exchange under FEMA 1999 and authorises Electronic Trading Platforms (ETPs). Currency derivatives trade on SEBI-recognised exchanges (NSE, BSE, MSE/Metropolitan Stock Exchange). first, then SMC Global Securities's own terms and published fees. We link the register we used (sebi.gov.in) rather than asking anyone to take our word for a licence. Secondary sources - user-review platforms, press reports - are used for reputation, never for figures.

Our checking process

1

If we cannot say where a number came from, it does not get published.

2

An unverifiable number is dropped, not approximated: a missing value costs the reader nothing, a wrong one can cost money.

3

Anything that varies by jurisdiction is checked for India and not copied from the broker's global page.

Our editorial desk

There are no personal bylines here: one desk writes, checks and updates the pages, and it answers for all of them. We use AI tools in drafting and translation, and every page is reviewed against its sources by a person before it is published.
